Seth’s Blog: What’s high school for?

Perhaps we could endeavor to teach our future the following:

  • An insatiable desire (and the ability) to learn more. Forever.
  • Most of all, the self-reliance that comes from understanding that relentless hard work can be applied to solve problems worth solving.

What I love about Seth’s entire list is that it wakes me up in the same way that Zig Zigler once did.  Every point on the list is worth learning and sets the stage for future success but I’ve haven’t seen a public school course that teaches these principles.

During High School, I began learning these lessons from my parents and because I had a mentor who cared about my future. Thank you, Lars.
